Computational Knowledge Comes to BlackBerry Q10 and More

October 21, 2013 —

Getting answers just got a whole lot easier for the BlackBerry set. As mentioned at the recent Wolfram Technology Conference, we’re happy and excited to share that BlackBerry has selected Wolfram|Alpha to provide answers for its Voice Control feature with the 10.2 release of BlackBerry OS.

This integration makes Wolfram|Alpha’s human-curated collection of over 10 trillion pieces of data available to answer questions and queries through devices like the BlackBerry Z10 and Q10. All you have to do is ask—no typing required. Wolfram|Alpha’s natural linguistic analysis interprets the question, computing an answer dynamically.

It’s always been our goal to make computation and knowledge available everywhere, instantly, with as few barriers as possible. With Wolfram|Alpha now available through BlackBerry Voice Control, it’s easier than ever for more people to get knowledge and answers when they need them.

BB10 is a fantastic OS and the addition of Wolfram Alpha just made it even better!!
Thank you!

Unfortunately it’s only available in English. Please make it work in Spanish and other languages.

Thanks for your comment! Wolfram|Alpha is not currently available in Spanish. If you have comments regarding Voice Control please direct your queries to BlackBerry.
