Planning a trip can be exhausting, but we believe that everything becomes easier with a little data! Today we released the Wolfram Travel Assistant App, another in our line of Wolfram|Alpha-powered iOS apps. Whether you need help during trip planning or while currently on a vacation, this app is a great addition to your itinerary!

Wolfram Travel Assistant App

With the Wolfram Travel Assistant App at your fingertips, you can calculate gas prices for different cities along your route, compute distances between locations, perform currency conversions, and even access area statistics, including tourism facts, cost of living, US sales tax rates, and crime rates by city.

The app can also compute flight information, including departure and arrival times, delays, and missed flight alternatives. The app also compares airline data, such as average number of flights per day, average people per flight, and average on-time arrivals.

This app is currently available on the iTunes App Store for $4.99. More information about this app and our other Wolfram|Alpha-powered apps can be found here.

I keep seeing your great apps but never see them for Windows Phone. When might you folks start delivering your great apps for Windows Phone?
Thanks,
Ned
